Feminisms are actuated by respect for oneself and for others, despite difference or ability, visible or otherwise. The experience of being gendered, or of sexual identity, is particular to the self and there is no desire expressed here to lump all persons who identify as women in an undifferentiated category, or suggesting identity necessarily aligns with the biological body, or with the gendered binary. Not conforming with established binaries, transcending gendered structures and choosing to live in the fullness of the freedom of expression granted to citizens as persons in their own right are forms of being included within this discussion.
